Project Description:

This development project involved acquisition by long-term lease and renovation of the historic Opera House and an adjacent building, both of which are included in the Junction City Downtown Historic District of Junction City, Kansas. The renovation process preserved both structures, and transformed them into a state-of-the-art performing arts center. The stage and theatrical areas of the opera house once again serve those same functions, and the adjacent building provides supporting areas such as dressing rooms, costume storage, scenery workshop, office space, public restrooms, and mechanical equipment areas.
